Some big plays on defense, including two interceptions from linebacker Hunter Burton – his second and third of the season – then a couple tipped passes by defensive end Jaxon Whitney, and a 71-yard interception return from Chaedon Dayton allowed the Silverwolves’ offense to outpoint the Skyhawks. The Fremont offense produced on big plays as well, including a 68-yard touchdown run from Jay Scott, and four scoring passes from Mitch Stratford – to Scott, Dayton, Calvin Peterson, and an 81-yard catch-and-dash to Whitney, that blew the game open on the second play of the fourth quarter.
